I am happy that I could attend the YW Satellite Broadcast with the YW in my ward. What a neat meeting! And I realized that this is the first time in 12 years that I didn't have one of my own daughters to attend with. It's a good thing I serve in YW so I can have 41 adopted girls!
President Monson gave a wonderful talk about Believing, Obeying and Enduring. There were other talks that were touching in their own spiritual way. I am glad I can learn along with the girls, who I am, why I am here and that I have a mission to fulfill on this earth. I just have to stand tall and strong so I know what that "mission" is that I need to fulfill.
I especially always love the choir of young ladies.... I'm always curious to see what they wear. Haha... The choir directors have them dress similiar and so unified. I love it! I loved seeing many of them wearing a necklace of either the torch or their YW medallion. Of course, their voices were beautiful.
Our YW in our ward have beautiful voices when they sing in opening excercises. They sing in parts and it sounds like a choir. What a great future we have in store for us as they grow older. There are some really neat girls.
Pat and I were chatting this morning about how mom would wake us in the mornings and say "Arise and Shine". So this is for you mom....
