What a fun week this is...Prom preparations along with all the other facets of life! Erik and his date's group are going to have dinner at our home Sat night. A group of 5 couples...just right. And Ash is busy-busy with the planning since she is a Junior Class officer. She is in the Royalty....the top seven.... and looked so beautiful this morning at their school assembly along with the all the other beauties and handsome young men dressed in their formals and Tuxedos. Her date and prom group are all involved with the track meet on Saturday, too... maybe that's their day date?....run and sweat and cheer each other on in the St. George sun......With decorating on Friday and Track meets and soccer games....maybe we'll have to order out.... pizza anyone?
And speaking of pizza....Erik is able to eat more and more solids foods! His post on facebook from yesterday says:
"You REALLY come to appreciate the simple foods when you haven't been able to eat them for a month!" He's feeling better a little more each day.
Congrats to Ashley's A Capella choir group at Region....they are going to state! It actually fits in the only Friday/Sat she doesn't have a track meet...so that will be a fun overnighter trip up north....for FUN. There's quite a group...about 100 or so of them....Party, party, party...and gotta love the chaperon's for being brave!
And....I got the lawnmower going! We needed to cut the grass before it gets covered up by mother nature again with a layer of snow..... Ha ha Today, the sunshine is beaming and some of my tulips are blooming! I love spring! :)
