Jr. Prom

What a memorable weekend!  A busy weekend...but memorable!
Erik and Shari
The dinner group....Erik and friends...(and Amy, the cat, ha ha)
What's a Formal without the flowers?
Ashley and Warby (Bryson)
Ashley and Jenna and I transformed this "easy up canopy" into this!  Dennis helped us with the technical stuff...the lights! What a work of art!  This is where they served the refreshments....yes...the tables had table coverings later that day....phewww....
False Canopy Ceilings, balloon trees and a river/with rocks all lit up and with a bridge, too, it's amazing what you can do with plastic and paper... haha....lots of decorating...we all helped...that was our date night activity for Friday....Lots of hard work pays off....it looked great
Ha ha....11 years have fun, too!  This is Justin's friend that came over to spend time and play and also help us with the dinner preparations...he's a good cleaner, maybe we'll have to him over every Saturday!  jk
What a hottie!
Congrats Ash...on Royalty! ~ Jr. Prom Queen
Brother and Sister....what an awesome night they had with their dates!

Also, in the middle of all this...Justin had a soccer game and they didn't do so well, but had a great time playing, they said....so that's the important thing.  And, Ashley state qualified her 800 open race down at St. George at the Dixie Invite.  She brought home two medals from the day...A first from the 800 and a third from the Medley Relay.  She also got a nice suntan from the meet.  Her group went to the caves over in Snow Canyon and played glow stick hide and seek for their day date after the track meet.  Erik's group met also after the track meet, but here in Cedar and played Bigger and Better and had a blast.
I should have taken pics of Dennis and I all worn out! ha ha We helped chaperon at the dance until midnight, too.  It was really neat to be in attendance when they announced the Royalty!  So proud of Ash!  And since Ash is a Junior Class officer, we were right there with her as a family taking down all the decor on Sunday with the other families.  It's amazing how 10 plus hours of decorating only takes 2 hours to clean up!  The Junior class officers did a great job planning and preparing and carrying out a great Junior Prom for 2010.  We all slept wonderfully sound Sunday night and didn't want to wake up Monday morning because we were tired.  We ....had .... a ......FUN....... weekend!

  1. Wow! You guys are awesome. The decorations looks so good. Erik and Ashley also look great. What a beautiful family you have. I love the girls dresses too. I am always impressed with the girls who choose to be modest. Congrats to Ashley and her royalty! What a fun weekend.
