Hey family and friends...

A little update here... and honestly there's no easy way to say it so I'll just spill it out.

We're done with treatment.

We've tried chemo, we tried immunotherapy, but my cancer is still growing. We went to try a different chemo last week that "is a crap-shot"...(Doctor's words)... nothing to say it'd work but we'd try it. I had a reaction to it and we just didn't feel right continuing on with it.

We got a sample of my tumor to see if genomics were a possibility (take a look at the DNA, see where it's mutating and see if there is a specific treatment to try) and the results were inconclusive. We are still going to try to get one more sample and try genomics one more time.

THIS IS THE SUCKIEST SUCK THAT HAS EVER SUCKED.

So, timeline. Dr Haslem said a few months.

Right now the cancer is on a good chunk of my ribs on the right side, my left shoulder, and a spots down by my hip.

And some close to my lungs.

I'm in good spirits. Just be grateful that this life isn't all!!!

I'm grateful every day for that! We've seen SOOO many miracles throughout this process, and that's the key to focus on. :)

Although reality has set in and we've had time to absorb the latest news, it has been a good week because distractions help. And memories are made!
