The Gray Family: Fall... is best of all

I love fall. I love the colors. I really like "Indian Summer", although we haven't had much of one. Weird weather. For instance, yesterday, instead of sitting in our vehicle watching J's football game, we braved the wind and rain and cold temps and sat on the somewhat vacated bleachers. There were several others who bravely sat in the cold, too, cheering on the Cedar Freshman team. And oh, yes, the Freshman team won and more importantly, J did awesome! Like usual! He's a scrappy fighter on the football field! It's a good thing to be assertive like that when you play left guard and right tackle or right guard and left tackle... uh, I don't know. I just watch for J! He was sad that his fumbled football pick up that he ran across the goal line didn't count. ahhhh.

J loves high school! He has good friends and his grades are up and staying up despite all his energy directed toward friends and football!

Erik lives in an apartment with friends near campus. He enjoys living more of an independent life. He loves the idea that his "commute" to school or work has lessened. haha!

Erik left the pyramid for "Grandma Morning" for Camden to enjoy.

And speaking of "Grandma Morning".... I enjoy getting my camera out! What a cute lil guy!

Running the Main Street Mile.... Chris had a PR! Compared to the last year. Good job Hayden for helping pace Chris! So Hayden got his workout in for the day by running up and back throughout the race by running with others too!

Good job Dennis! Way to go!

And yes, Erik!!!! Good job! Back to running again- with just one fibula!

This is what Erik's jaw looks like at the moment. The bottom row shows the 5 posts implanted into the bone carefully placed inbetween the the metal template that Dr. Hunt had put in last December. There is a gap that they feel like they will give time to see if it will close in. March's surgery was to put cadaver bone in, but it didn't take. So time will tell. The template holds things together and the new set of teeth will, too. That will come in January/February.
