Easter Traditions & Upcoming Surgery

What a blast!  Even if it was really super duper cold on Saturday.... oh, well.  We had an Easter Egg Hunt with all of us.  Justin and Hayden ended up with the most money.  Good job!  Lots of treats...yummm.... and a barbeque.  Camden was fun to watch.  He was so excited to gather eggs.  He picked up on the idea rather quickly.  We found one or two of last years eggs... haha.  And with 392 eggs hidden... ya, that's a lot... the kids found all but one.  So good job!  And good job to Dennis and I for stuffing them all with either money or treats and hiding them all over the yard!

Erik's surgery date is scheduled for April 3rd.  It will be good to keep the ball rolling and get things taken care of.  They are planning on doing a bone graft.  The CT scan and MRI reports came back and I guess they are good.  As far as I can tell...  So that is positive news!  We got to read them and will know more detail next week when we are up for the surgery.  So I am optimistic that what I read is correct.
This is a picture from his "swallow test" back in December when he had his feeding tube.  Intersting huh!?  The hardware looks like a bike chain.  And you can see the feeding tube, too.
