So... Justin is cleaning his turtle aquarium, putting his turtles safe and sound in a bucket on the vanity in the bathroom. Because I needed help outside and he came to help me and leaving his turtles without supervision.... well, you guessed it. One of them snuk out, kerplunk on the floor and crawled away. We couldn't find him/her for 2 days. With all the different activities going on, we would occasionally have a moment to look for the lost turtle. The reward even went up to 5 dollars.
Dennis rewarded himself with the 5 dollars because he was the one who found him! The escaped turtle was still alive and had found his way all the way down the hall and crawled behind the entertainment center in the family room. He/she is back inside the aquarium (a squeaky clean aquarium, I might add) with his/her friend and doing great! Hooray for Dennis for finding him/her! Justin was so happy!
