January Thaw

Happy Birthday!  Not only did Chris and Erik have birthdays.... It was Tim's birthday on 12/28.... we just keep partying!



Yes...the snow is melting...but we will have more...it's still winter, really.  I will enjoy this warm weather while it lasts.  Even if it means the little 4 legged furry guy has to have his paws rinsed off when he comes back into the house.  He loves to check out whaz happen' in the yard and remark his protected his territory.

School is back in full swing after a great holiday break.  All the kids are doing so well and getting good grades.  Hard work pays off.

Life is good, can't complain.  It's wonderful having Chris home.  It's wonderful having Brooke and Tim close by... a few more months and their household of two will become a household of three!  Work is happenin, too.  Dennis and Tim are plugging away at two different jobs.... The Iron County Care & Share and Rockville Town Community Ctr.  We are very blessed.

Haha.... this is the seven dollar bone that Justin bought for Cork for Christmas.  Justin wrapped it up and let Cork know that this was his present and told him not to open it before Christmas and to leave it alone.  Haha....so little Cork can smell the thing under the Christmas tree....what torture!  But needless to say, Cork left it alone.  Justin unwrapped this marvelous wonder on Christmas Day and Cork loves his bone.  It's like an everlasting gobstopper!  Cork can't even carry or drag the thing.  He chews on it occasionally.  The bone is grotesque looking and so it stays in my closet out of site.  Thank heavens it's dry and doesn't get the carpet dirty...otherwise it would quickly belong to Buddy!  And it will someday belong to Buddy.... and Buddy will have Christmas! haha
