Camping at our favorite spot....campsite #13 at Yankee Meadows! We had a good time. The mountain air was nice and cool. The lake was beautiful even though the fish were NOT biting. It was not good fishing, oh well. We had a nice ride up the mountain trails on 4 wheelers. Beautiful Country. We played some fun games...."A minute to win it" and cards and Yahtzee FreeforAll. Lots of good grub...of course...Dutch oven cooking and yummy breakfasts, too. Since Erik needed to work a few hours here and there, it was nice to be close enough for him to go back and forth when needed. He could then also check on the animals at home. We didn't take little Cork camping with us this time. And yes, as always, it's his "weight loss program" because he sulks at home when he has to stay home. He was surely happy to see us when we got back! Funny little dog. It's always fun to get together as family and enjoy one another. We have good times. It was very relaxing in the mountains, too. Lots of R and R and quiet time, too.
