This all happened last week...the last week of school. Now it's summer break! Ash and Erik get up and at 'em at 5:30 am each weekday and head into town and run at 6am with the other X country runners. Erik is doing great! He has a severe case of dry mouth all the time....but with a water bottle near his side and some really great gum that is especially for dry mouth...he is able to go running!
Justin and his soccer team ~Juventus~ are busy practicing for the Utah Summer Games next week. They have about 5 games next Wed through Saturday. Good Luck J!
Dennis made a quick trip up to Alaska for some family business regarding Grandma's G's estate and also got to go fishing. Yummmm....love fresh halibut. He'll bring it home with with him on the plane frozen and packed in dry ice.
I'm getting our veggies planted for the summer. The weather has been just right. A little windy at times...but I'm a not a complainin'! Wind is better than cold and snow! It's even warm enough for the swamp cooler. I've totally enjoyed the cool air coming from the cooler the last couple of days.
Ash and Erik are hopefully surviving Youth Conference. They are up in the mountains near Loa. It's 3 hours away. They are in good hands with their leaders and with our new adventurous Bishop.
On the Polatis Blog, I posted pictures of our Memorial Day excursion. It was really fun!
