Why do bad things happen to good people?
Yes, that is the question.
There are many unanswered questions that I KNOW will be answered someday. I have faith in that. It's a good thing because there's more cancer and Erik will be having another surgery tomorrow. Tomorrow morning up at Huntsman in SLC.
He is so brave and determined to keep going.
What an example!
Of course he was bummed and angry and frustrated... but then he said... well, at least it's during the time the Temple is closed for cleaning. (Serving his mission at St. George temple.) He's always optimistic. That's what keeps ME hanging in there.
AND there are always tender mercies....
This past week we had the privilege of tending our two darling grandchildren and fun loving doggie for Tim and Brooke and Chris and Allie while they took a week vacation on a cruise to the Bahamas.
Last week went by zip zap fast because we were kept so busy with a teething snugly 1 year old, a smart and energetic 3 year old and a furry 8 pound min pin named Daisy.
It didn't give me time to think about upcoming events. The Lord truly does know us individually.
I know Erik is in good hands and being monitored closely not only by earthly caretakers, but also by our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
