With Erik's and Justin's creative minds... one of Camden's birthday presents was a star wars shirt with "May the 4th be with You!" Justin made it on the computer and printed it on iron-on stuff and made it for lil Cam. What a birthday party! One year olds' bday parties are the best! Happy Birthday little pickle!

We gathered for a mother's day/birthday celebration on Sunday.
Happy Birthday Allie!
It was so neat to have dad and mom up from St. George for the day. I was really hoping we could spend Mother's Day together. I love my mom!
We had bbq chicken and twice baked potatoes and yummy rolls and delectible desserts and all the fixings... but the best treat of all was to be together as a family and visit with my parents!
Since we put the camera on timer... we were having a good time trying to tell Camden to look at the flashing green light... but being the one year old that he is... we finally resorted to putting the little dog up on the table where the camera was! It helped somewhat...Camden loves Cork. Although it's not a two-way friendship! Camden's mobility scares the dog.
Cork is learning that his safe place is well under the family room couch or back in the basket in my closet. He doesn't want to even try to be friends with someone who is still learning to pet nicely and not grabbing ears and pulling tails... hahaha.
What a beautiful couple!
The best mother's day gifts for me were "love" notes from my kids.
They all wrote something heartfelt and I love that. Of course flowers and chocolate
are wonderful, too! Thanks Dennis! :)
Saturday was great, too. Chris and Allie came out and with Allie's bravery and great dog handling skills.... she tackled the job of the ever needing dog bath!
Chris helped somewhat in between the couple of pickup loads of mulch that I really wanted to help with landscaping. Thanks men! Nice mother's day gift!
I really enjoy working in the yard and my current project is remodeling Buddyville. We had a pool in the past... now the kids are growing up and the giant raised circle of leveled sand is no longer needed.... it's turning into lawn and a terraced garden.... but not flowers or bushes that Buddy can destroy.... I'll probably plant something prickly... like rose bushes or barberry. Not to be mean... but just to keep mr. buddy from destroying my yard, again. He's finally growing out of his puppy stage... what? it's been four years? ya. I was able to resurrect several of the bushes that he dug up the automatic sprinkler bubblers to.... replaced them after 4 years of hand watering.... grrrrr. And rebuilt the planter area. So.... I love the mulch... a major plus~ it was free! And my yard looks great... lawns mowed and edged... thanks family! I love spring!

Now... That's ... a.... bowl... of.... cereal!
and Ashley, running unattached at a meet... she's redshirting this spring outdoor season... that's why she's not in SUU attire...so should we say she's "blue" shirting? haha
