Halloween Fun

Justin is a gangsta...I told him he needed a little "more costume" and so he does have scars painted on his face and he colored his hair totally black.

Oh... that's an awful looking Bridezilla! And Dennis has green hair if you look closely!

Erik was "Papa Smurf"  I'll post pictures of him later.  He looked good, very blue, but very good!
We are at our annual "Trunk or Treat" neighborhood party that come to think about it... that Shelly D. and I started years ago for our kiddos.  Now it has become a ward party/community gathering and has expanded to potluck soup and bread, then a Costume Parade and then the trunk or treating begins.  The kiddos keep going around and around in the big circle until everyone has given all their candy to them!  It's great!  We had a fun time.  Our candy bowl this year became a box.  It is a unique box.  A strange hand wiggles or grabs, depending on the age reaching into the candy.  We cut a handsize hole in the bottom and hot glued a black sock like puppet thing in it.  So holding the box with one hand and the other hand in conspicuously underneath, but really inside the box with all the candy.... we heard some shrieking screams from a few... and most of them had surprised looks on their faces and would jump back.  Dennis had a lot of fun!  Chris and Allie and Ashley all came out too... for a free and yummy meal.  And Tim and Brooke brought little Camden to experience his first trick or treating experience.  He was a cow.  He has a nice and warm and snuggly costume that has cute spots and a hood with ears.  Because he's only 6 months old and doesn't eat the candy and mom and dad don't eat much either.... Camden and his mommy took his 3.5 pounds into one of dentists that offers "cash for candy".  He got 7 dollars to go shopping with.  His mommy bought him another package of pacifiers and a baby teether book.  Brooke says he loves his new book.  Ahhhhh, little ones are so fun!  All in all... we had a great Halloween.
Oh, and Justin got braces today!  He still chose not to cash in his candy for money, but has decided to hang onto it to give to his friends when they come over to hang out.  They won't find any licorice, because that's what I helped myself to!
