This is what has been in the back of my mind all summer long...oh, boy! Here it is, finally! Except I'm somewhat frightened because I only want to hear good news.
Hopefully we don't have to wait until next Tuesday's Dr. appt to find out the results. But if we do, we will have faith and courage that all is well.
He's doing great! Running XCountry in the mornings, hanging out with friends, camping, Lake Powell, working at Dairy Queen and his other job at the Solomon's (hand watering...they are on a mission in Australia...I want to go to Australia!) Anyway...Erik is doing well! Enjoying the foods he was unable to eat...spicy foods and orange juice still sting, but hey, he has a vast variety again! For his PET scan diet (24 hours before) he gets to only eat proteins and veggies. No carbs or Dairy... whoa...that's a crazy diet...he doesn't like many veggies, but he likes a juicy grilled steak! Thank heavens!
After today's appointment at Dixie, we'll go out to lunch! He deserves it!
